Insurance Requirements for Suppliers on Downstream Marketplace

Supplier insurance requirements to list services and products for rent on Downstream Marketplace

Overview

To participate as a supplier on the Downstream Marketplace, you must maintain and provide proof of insurance that meets our minimum coverage requirements. This ensures the protection of all parties involved in the rental process.

Required Insurance Coverage

1. General Liability Insurance

  • Minimum Coverage: $1 million per occurrence / $2 million aggregate

  • Downstream Systems, Inc. must be named as an Additional Insured.

  • Waiver of Subrogation must be issued in favor of Downstream Systems, Inc.

2. Automobile Liability Insurance (Required if Delivering Equipment)

  • Minimum Coverage: $1 million combined single limit per accident.

  • Coverage must include all owned, non-owned, and hired vehicles used for business purposes.

  • Any Auto coverage is required

  • Downstream Systems, Inc. must be listed as an Additional Insured.

3. Workers’ Compensation and Employers’ Liability Insurance

  • Statutory limits as required by state law.

  • Employers’ Liability: Minimum $1 million per accident$1 million per employee$1 million policy limit.

Certificate of Insurance (COI) Requirements

  • The Certificate Holder must be listed as:

  • The COI must include endorsements for Additional Insured status and Waiver of Subrogation where required.

  • Suppliers must submit a valid COI before renting any equipment.

  • If the insurance policy is renewed or modified, an updated COI must be provided.

Failure to Maintain Insurance

Failure to provide or maintain the required insurance coverage may result in:

  • Suspension or removal from the Downstream Marketplace.

  • Ineligibility to list equipment for rent.

  • Additional fees or penalties as determined by Downstream Systems, Inc.
