How do I Apply for Credit on Downstream Marketplace?

Apply for Net Credit Terms with Downstream Marketplace.

Eligibility Requirements

Downstream Marketplace offers net terms only to business customers. Individuals are not eligible for net terms financing.

How to Apply for Credit

To enhance security, all applicants must log into our application to apply. This ensures that only users with a verified email can submit a credit application.

You can apply for credit directly through the mobile app or desktop platform by following these steps:

  1. From Your Profile:

    • Go to Profile > Invoicing and Payments > Invoice Settings

    • Click the Apply Now button to start your credit application.

  2. During Checkout:

    • Add items to your cart.

    • Proceed to Checkout.

    • Select Pay Later as the payment method.

    • Click the Apply Now button to begin your application.

  1. From Company Settings:

    • Navigate to Billing & Payment Methods.

    • Scroll down to 'Payment Terms' and click the 'Apply Now' button on the right-hand side. Note: if you currently have credit terms, you will see a 'Request Increase' button instead.

  2. During Checkout:

    • Add items to your cart.

    • Proceed to Checkout.

    • Click the Apply Now button to apply for credit.

What Happens Next?

  • Once your application is submitted, our team will review it and notify you of the decision.

  • Approved businesses will be able to select Place Order without a credit card at checkout. Allowing you to Pay by Check using net terms approved by Downstream.
